Why do I have to “Authorize” an application?

The tight integration we provide means the application needs to have access to your information. Of course, we aren’t going to give that access out without your authorization. This authorization is done via industry standard methods which are built for security and with your best interests in mind (called “OAuth”, you can read an Introduction here).

If ever you change your mind, you can quickly and easily revoke authorization for any application on Zibbet by visiting the “"Applications":http://www.zibbet.com/myzibbet/applications” link within My Zibbet. This will immediately remove access to your information for the application.
