Can't stay logged in to Zibbet.

When logging in to Zibbet, you can select to have your login remembered for your current computer. This can be a time saver if you are the only one who has access to the computer and you frequent Zibbet often.

Sometimes, however, you may be automatically logged out.

When you log in to Zibbet (or any site on the internet), your login details are stored in a ‘cookie’ on your computer. This cookie contains a unique code which identifies your computer/browser combination as the one which is logged into the website.

When clicking to log out, the cookie is removed and therefore your computer/browser combination is no longer recognized as being logged in.

If, for any reason, the cookie is removed without you clicking log out, it will have the same effect (as clicking log out). This can sometimes happen due to browser settings, or a security suite on your computer being a little overzealous when protecting you.

If you are logged out only when you close your browser / shut down your computer, we recommend reviewing your browser settings to ensure that cookies are kept beyond just the current “session”. Another setting to watch out for is with your security suite along the lines of “clear cookies on shut down”.

To isolate the issue, you can try an alternate web browser. If the issue is fixed, it means you must alter your cookie settings in your normal browser. If the issue persists, you can try temporarily disabling any security suite you may have on your computer.
If, after all this, you still cannot stay logged in, contact us at Zibbet and we can investigate further for you.
