Sometimes when sharing a URL via Facebook, it will show ‘old’ information instead of the latest page as the blurb.

This is a caching issue on Facebook’s behalf. The last time this particular link was shared, Facebook stored the data of the page and is now using that instead of what is currently there.

To force Facebook to update its cache, you can use their Linting tool: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/

Simply enter the URL you wish to share into this page and press “Lint”.

The next time you share the URL, it will have the most updated data.
